Examples of cleft lip and palate repair. Three partners provide these reconstructive services.
…a new smile, a new face, peer acceptance, and a truly new opportunity in life.

Rotary Partners and Projects
Our "designated partners" (PDF List here) are typically non-profit organizations that provide goods or services on an ongoing basis that meet specific needs of people in special circumstances. Usually recipients of these services are economically disadvantaged and not able to provide or obtain the needed goods or services for themselves. Usually the recipient's local culture and economy give little, if any, hope for a remedy.

The partner's goods and services lend themselves to being significant and worthwhile special projects for local Rotary clubs to meet real human needs through funding and in Rotary Club members carrying out meaningful volunteer efforts with on-site delivery of the services. Some projects may entail travel with service opportunities and rewarding experiences of "Service above Self." Contact with recipients and involvement with people of the community served is sure to provide the Rotarian volunteer with an enriching and rewarding experience.

Our partners are typically well established organizations with strong management and which exercise good fiscal responsibility. Maximum resources go to the delivery of goods and services with minimized overhead and operating expense. The organization typically has a documented history of success, and sound fiscal and general management practices.

Some of the organizations may have been started by Rotarians or friends of Rotarians and often the Boards of Directors or officers include one of more influential Rotarians from a club in their location.
Our partners provide unique opportunities for Rotary Clubs to help people in need.
These are projects standing ready to serve people in need and easy for your club to become a participant.
