Rotary
seeks Young Ambassadors
May 2009 - four weeks as part of a Rotary goodwill
exchange. Rotary District 5190 is currently accepting
applications for the 2009 Group Study Exchange to Italy.
Young business professionals between 25 and 40 years old are
encouraged to apply.
Group Study Exchange is one of the programs funded by the
Rotary Foundation. It's purpose is to promote understanding
and goodwill throughout the world. Group Study Exchange team
members travel in a group of four with a Rotarian Team
Leader. During the month long visit to Italy, they will be
exposed to culture, cuisine, history and business aspects of
Rotary District 2090 in the heart of Italy, about 100
kilometers from Rome. The team will stay in the homes of
Italians and learn about Italy's rich family life and
customs.
Team members are provided an orientation prior to their
departure. There is also a requirement that presentations
about their journey are given to their home communities upon
their return to the U.S. Where else can you find an all
expense paid trip to another country where you will get the
experience of a life time? Rotary Group Study Exchange is a
chance you won't want to miss.
Team Member Application : It is desirable but not
required to speak Italian. Interested applicants can
download the Group Study Exchange Team Member application
from www.rotary.org
here.
Applications must be submitted by
August 31, 2008
