Welcome to District 5190! Physically the largest Rotary District in the Continental U.S., the 54 vibrant Rotary clubs located in this very diverse district covering parts of northeastern California and more than 75% of the entire state of Nevada are each individually unique in their mission of service to their communities. Our district represents more than 2,400 dedicated and compassionate Rotarians who everyday practice Rotary's motto of Service Above Self.

This informative and up-to-date website is designed to assist both visitors, club and district members alike as to the specific details of upcoming club, district and Rotary International events as well as an enlightening tutorial of each of our Avenues of Service. If you are a new visitor to our website you can use the 'Site Map' link to the left to quickly find the information you want. And be sure to login as a guest (or District or Club Officer if applicable) so that you can view contact information for our District and Club Officers.

Rotary International Convention 2012Rotary International Convention - May 6-9, 2012 in Bangkok, Thailand
Please accept my personal invitation to join me and our fellow Rotarians in Bangkok, Thailand, 6-9 May 2012, for the 103rd Rotary International Convention – an incredible event in one of the world’s most fascinating cities. Thailand is a spectacular destination, truly the Land of a Thousand Smiles. I would particularly urge Rotarians who have never visited Asia before to consider this your chance. Bangkok is a fantastic gateway to explore Southeast Asia and a wonderful experience on its own for a shorter trip. For those who hail from countries closer by, take the opportunities of a major cultural capital. Indeed, for those who have been there already, you know that you can never get enough of Bangkok. For more information, please visit the Convention web site here. Kaylan Banerjee, President, Rotary International, 2011-2012

District 5190 will welcome 4 new clubs (Bishop, Bishop Sunrise, Mammoth Lakes, and Mammoth Sunrise) on July 1, 2012.
Rotary International Board Approval of D-5190, 5260, 5280 & 5300 Redistricting is complete. Read the official notice from Rotary International here.
